This meme is doing the rounds again, and I can’t resist joining in the fun. This time, thanks to Fictionophile, there is a variation – the books should be from your TBR!
A is for The Abbess of Crewe by Muriel Spark
N is for Never Trust a Rabbit by Jeremy Dyson
N is for Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
A is for The Accident on the A35 by Graeme Macrae Burnet
B is for Bodies of Light by Sarah Moss
O is for OLT by Kenneth Gangemi
O is for Orkney by Amy Sackville
K is for Kolymsky Heights by Lionel Davidson
B is for The Book of Luce by L R Fredericks
E is for England, Their England by A G MacDonnell
L is for Love in a Fallen City by Eileen Chang
Glad you couldn’t resist this one, Annabel. I’d start with Sarah Moss.
Great list, Annabel. I’ve got The Abbess of Crewe by Muriel Spark on my TBR shelf too!
The Spark must be coming up soon at Heavenali’s Spark readalong – must check.
I’m so tempted…. but I have such a long blog name….. Kolymsky Heights is great, I highly recommend! 🙂
I’ve been meaning to read England, Their England for so long!
I haven’t read any of these – I’d start with Neverwhere, I think.
By the way I received a proof copy of The Story Keeper by Anna Mazzola a few weeks ago and meant to ask if you had arranged to have it sent to me? It was in a Headline Publishing Group jifffy bag and addressed to me at Shiny New Books and then my address. It’s due to be published on 26 July 2018.
It wasn’t me – it’ll be an error on their mailing list! However, if you’d like to review it for Shiny, you’d be very welcome indeed…
Thanks Annabel – I’ll let you know if I like it.
I second Kaggsy – Kolymsky Heights is brilliant!
Glad you participated in this fun meme, though… I would have appreciated a link back seeing as I created it …
Guilty as charged and amended.
