Twenty Books of Summer – midway check in #20BOS26

Well, I promised you a midway check in. How are you getting on with your Books of Summer, however many you aim to read? I’ve read 9 and with several of them to review. Now school has broken up, I’ll have more reading time, so hope to get cracking on reading and reviewing the rest of my 20.

Don’t forget if you are reading, or have read Yesteryear last month, stick a link in the main post for July here and there’ll be a discussion post for it in August.

Now I promised you something creative to apply to your summer reading to. Last year, we asked you to imagine your books as ice-cream flavours. This year…

Let’s take a Road Trip!

Take a look at the books you’ve read so far and plan a road trip around them: put them in an order that makes sense – use locations, author nationalities, landmarks, key words – whatever works. Feel free to wax lyrical about how you’re travelling, your transport.

Then thinking ahead, to books you’re planning to read later in the challenge, where will be next stops be?

I’m looking forward to exploring your journeys.

Have fun!
