Well, I promised you a midway check in. How are you getting on with your Books of Summer, however many you aim to read? I’ve read 9 and with several of them to review. Now school has broken up, I’ll have more reading time, so hope to get cracking on reading and reviewing the rest of my 20.

Take a look at the books you’ve read so far and plan a road trip around them: put them in an order that makes sense – use locations, author nationalities, landmarks, key words – whatever works. Feel free to wax lyrical about how you’re travelling, your transport.
Then thinking ahead, to books you’re planning to read later in the challenge, where will be next stops be?

As I haven’t finished my post on my June recap, I might as well do this halfway point! Hopefully I’ll find time to finish it this weekend
I’ve read 11–and posted about three of them (hopefully 4 more this week). Feeling pretty good about getting my 20 done–but not as good as I felt on June 30 🙂

I’ve read seven from my chosen ten plus two unplanned books. Two days ago I was on eight books read, so I’m going to predict I might manage 15 this year.

I’m about to write a midpoint check in post – about a week late, I think, which tells you all you need to know! I’m loving the challenge this year, though. I was so behind on my reading and this is helping me catch up with books I promised myself I’d read and was in danger of not getting to.
Mine will be a flying trip! All over the world.
I’m late to this post and currently reading book 11 so horribly behind (but it’s a short and easy read). So far, I’ve been around Australia (three times), in Iceland and flying through prehistory, along the Appalachian Trail, in a 1920s suburb of Manchester, all around the British countryside, around America looking at art and then organising, and I’m currently in the modern and 2000s UK.
